Biography |
Alice and her husband, Joe, have been OLM parishioners for the past 25 years and have two grown sons. Alice also serves as a Eucharistic Minister, visits the sick/homebound, and leads the Spiritual Enrichment Team. Alice is the grateful recipient of an excellent Catholic education from elementary school through undergraduate degree. Dr. Alonso is also a graduate of UMDNJ-Newark and has dedicated herself to clinical research in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, diagnostics, and medical devices. Her work covers a wide variety of diseases and medical conditions. Alice has served on the council since May 2009. She is excited about using whatever gifts she may possess to serve her parish family and hopes to bring spiritually enriching experiences to people of all ages at OLM and beyond. |

Debbie has been an OLM Parishioner for the past 27 years. Debbie also serves the parish as the Lector Coordinator, Eucharistic Minister, a member of the RCIA team and she leads the Bereavement Ministry. Debbie is a Nurse, wife and mother. She is currently the Administrator for the Warren Township Sewerage Authority She serves on the the council because she feels an obligation to God and her Church and hopes to bring her life's experience and knowledge acquired from her job to the council. |

Mazin and his wife Susan have been members of OLM since 2003. Mazin is a Lector and Susan is a Eucharistic Minster. They have two children, Natalie and Nicole. Natalie is an alter server and a teenage Lector, while Nicole is an alter server. |

Barbara, her husband Michael and daughter have been parishioners at OLM for over 10 years and also have two grown sons and two grandchildren. Barbara is a team leader in Spirituality Enrichment, is a Eucharist Minister and visits the sick and homebound.
Barbara has been a teacher, librarian, and a clothing designer. She currently speaks and is writing about the Apparitions of Our Lady of Medjugorje. She is also an aspiring children’s author. Barbara hopes to make a difference through her enthusiasm for her faith and desire to awaken others on their spiritual journey. She hopes to bring and implement ideas that will inspire our church family.

Karina and her family have been parishioners at OLM since 2007. Before coming to Warren, Karina had a retail flower shop in Englishtown, NJ, and taught CCD at her local parish for many years. Karina is now a bankruptcy attorney and a professional mediator with a solo practice in Liberty Corner, NJ. |

Deacon Candidate John was accepted into the permanent diaconate formation and academic program in May 2008 with his anticipated ordination in the spring of 2012. The Diocesan’s Diaconate Office recently assigned him to serve at Our Lady of the Mount. John was born in Brooklyn and raised in Queens, New York. After various corporate assignments, he and his family settled in New Jersey moving to Bridgewater in 1984, where they became active members in St. James parish in Basking Ridge. A graduate of Rutgers College, John studied business and chemical engineering. In 1973 he earned an MBA from New York University in finance and received another post-graduate degree in accounting from the same institution. More |

Joseph lives in Warren with his wife Barbara and has been a member of OLM parish for the past 38 years. Joseph and his wife Barbara
have 3 children and 6 grandchildren, all of whom live in the local area.
He retired from Johnson and Johnson in 1999, after 35 years of service in the areas of Finance and Information Technology. Joseph's other interests include travel, collecting comic books and stamps, reading fiction, and watching movies. |

Patricia has been an OLM parishioner for the past 8 years. Patricia is the proud mother of 3, including a set of twins. She is an attorney with the firm of Zohn & Zohn, LLP. Patricia is serving on the the council because she wishes to be a witness to her children and others by being of service to her parish with her skills. |
